SD 23 students see Kenneth Oppel during Education Week 2010!
During Education Week, 2010, the Central Okanagan Teacher Librarians' Association (COTLA) is pleased to welcome Kenneth Oppel who will speak to over 4000 SD 23 students at the Kelowna Community Theatre and a variety of SD23 schools. Oppel will also have a free presentation to all members of the community on Thursday, March 4th at 7:00pm at the Kelowna Community Theatre. There is no need to sign up, just come and enjoy. These events are organized by COTLA for Education Week and are made possible, in part, by donations from Capri Insurance, Harmony Honda, and CanWest Media's "Raise a Reader" Program (via the Daily Courier and Project Literacy Kelowna).
