Wither by Lauren Destefano, Simon and Shuster. 2011.
Review by Kristina Albright
Wither was a very suspenseful, yet romantic novel. It wasn’t the genre of book I don’t normally read, but I found it had me on the edge of my seat dying to find out what happens. I could barely put it down. Lauren Destefano has portrayed the characters emotions very well in the novel, expressing their feelings and thoughts thoroughly. I cannot wait to read the second book in the Chemical Garden Trilogy Wither, to find out if Rhine and Gabriel find Rhine’s brother Rowan and return to her childhood home.
